Michelle Jovin is a freelance writer, proofreader and editor. She has a deep passion for performing arts and music education and is a former music program participant — playing clarinet for four years and performing in color guard for six years. Michelle has had the honor of performing at the Fiesta Bowl, and she was able to travel the country during her two years in drum corps. Michelle graduated from the University of California, Riverside, in 2011 with bachelor’s degrees in English and in media and cultural studies. She earned her master’s degree in publishing from University College London in 2012. In her free time, Michelle loves going to live musical performances and is (slowly) trying to learn the piano.
